Two Years

(730/365) Here we are. After two straight years of daily photos, I've reached the end of my project. When I began, I didn't expect to last more than a month. I didn't even live in New York, the city was still a mystery, I had never even ridden the subway on my own, or been to Central Park. -- In this time, I went from photographing people, to approaching and photographing strangers, and photographing not only for a popular website, but for various museums and organizations. -- I've been inspired, challenged, and supported by old friends and complete strangers, expanded my horizons, and started looking even further. -- One year became two, as I was afraid to stop. Today, I am calling it quits. Not from photography, but from my never-ending daily photography. You might have thought I did already, as I have not posted much in the last several months. I've been falling behind in procssing the work I create daiy, and still pushing to catch up. -- I have new projects in the works, which I hope to begin shortly. After two years, however, it's time for a short break. I'll work on catching up, processing and scanning endless rolls of film, as much as a year old, and rejuvinating my stamina for the nxt sprint. I hope to take time to get some of my shortcoming right, and to become better about sharing with all of you, who kept me going for 24 months.
